The Department of Women’s Empowerment collaborated with the Department of Information Technology and Communication (DOIT&C) and created an online portal. This portal will serve as a platform for registration and connection of potential beneficiaries with work-from-home job opportunities.

To ensure the efficient execution of the scheme, a dedicated unit, the Scheme Implementation Unit, has been established within the Department of Women’s Empowerment. This unit has been tasked with the following responsibilities

  • Connecting women with work-from-home job opportunities by the specified objectives.
  • Actively soliciting applications from skilled women interested in remote work in technical or other fields.
  • Analyzing and generating reports based on data acquired from the portal.
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with employers in the public and private sectors to identify work-from-home job opportunities.
  • Developing promotional materials to raise awareness about the scheme.
  • They are conducting workshops and seminars to engage industrial organizations and enhance their awareness and participation in the scheme.
  • Periodically monitoring and tracking the progress of women benefiting from the scheme, with regular reporting to the department.
  • Offering innovative suggestions to the department based on the analysis of data received through the portal.

These guidelines aim to streamline the scheme’s implementation, ensuring an efficient outreach and support system for women actively seeking work-from-home opportunities

Work-from-Home Opportunities Across Departments

  • The Personnel Department will collaborate with different departments to identify tasks suitable for Work-from-Home, including typing, dictation, documentation, etc., and provide corresponding guidelines.
  • The Department of Women’s Empowerment will deliver counseling services as Work-from-Home job tasks within its jurisdiction.
  • In the second phase, the tasks identified will be executed as Work-from-Home job assignments. 

All government departments, autonomous bodies, government agencies, and public corporations will pinpoint and assign tasks suitable for Work-from-Home job opportunities. These designated tasks will be allocated to women as Work-from-Home job assignments, with the associated expenditure drawn from the budgets of respective departments for their existing schemes/programs.

  1. Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Department: Offer online counseling services by female specialist doctors, transcription services, and garment stitching for use in healthcare facilities.
  2. Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Department: Arrange job fairs/events to ensure the participation of organizers providing Work-from-Home job opportunities. Through these events, registered women under the scheme will be connected with Work-from-Home job opportunities.
  3. Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC): Integrate at least 10% of trained women from the training programs conducted by training partners into Work-from-Home job tasks.
  4. Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF): Provide Work-from-Home job opportunities for women in processing and marketing tasks related to dairy products.
  5. Rajasthan State Consumer Cooperative Federation (CONFED): Facilitate Work-from-Home job opportunities for women in grading, packaging, and related activities.
  6. Khadi and Village Industries Department: Identify production-related tasks suitable for Work-from-Home and assign them to women.
  7. Industries Department: Collaborate with industrial and business organizations such as CII, CREDAI, FORTI, and FICCI to identify and promote demand for Work-from-Home job tasks in established industrial clusters. Encourage industrial units to increase opportunities for women in Work-from-Home job tasks. If an industrial unit allocates 20% of total active employees’ jobs as Work-from-Home job tasks for women, financial/non-financial incentives will be provided by the state government.
  8. Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Department of Child Rights: Deliver counseling services as Work-from-Home job tasks under their purview.

Non-Governmental Organizations:

  • Collaborate in promoting and extending the reach of the scheme.
  • Conduct surveys/research to identify areas suitable for Work-from-Home, although no financial incentives/grants will be provided by the department for these tasks.

Financial and Non-Financial Incentives:

Private entities offering Work-from-Home opportunities to a significant number of women and paying them more than INR 5,000 for their tasks will be eligible for a training incentive of INR 3,000 per trainee, provided the women receive the Work-from-Home job offer letter from the private entity.
