The Haryana Student Transport Security Scheme will be implemented in Ratangarh village of Karnal district in the first phase. After the successful implementation of the scheme, the Chhatra Parivahan Suraksha Yojana will be implemented in other districts of the state.
The Roadways Department will manage the buses, stationed in Ratangarh village at 7 am, to facilitate the transportation of students to and from school. Following its successful implementation in Karnal, the scheme will be expanded to cover the entire state. Villages with 5 to 10 children will have access to services such as auto-rickshaws. This transportation service will be provided to students at no cost, with expenses covered by the District Education Department.
