The Assam Government has established the following eligibility criteria for individuals to access the benefits of the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme:

• Residency Requirement:
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Age Criteria:
  • The applicant should be above 28 years and below 40 years as of April 1, 2023.
  • The upper age limit is extended to 43 years for individuals belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
• Educational Qualifications:
  • A minimum qualification of passing Class 10 is required for general category applicants.
  • For candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories, education up to Class X is sufficient.
