2. Obtain a duplicate SIM card for the lost number from your telecom service provider (e.g., Airtel, Jio, Voda/Idea, BSNL, MTNL, etc.). This is crucial as it serves as the primary mobile number for submitting the IMEI blocking request (OTP will be sent to this number). Note: SMS functionality on re-issued SIMs is activated 24 hours after SIM activation.
