What is Saksham Yuva Yojana 2024?

The Saksham Yuva Yojana is an ongoing initiative led by the State Government of Haryana, with a primary focus on the empowerment and well-being of educated, unemployed youth. The fundamental goal of this program is to extend monthly financial support to the educated youth of the state, with a key emphasis on fostering employment opportunities and facilitating their placement in various state government departments.

All state government entities, including departments, colleges, boards, and corporations, are mandated to inform the Employment Department about any job vacancies. The Employment Department, in turn, will notify registered graduates of job openings through SMS and email alerts. Additionally, employers can utilize the Saksham Yuva platform to advertise job opportunities for young individuals seeking employment.

Upon selection, candidates will be placed in various state government departments or banks as part of the Saksham Yojana. As mentioned earlier, selected candidates are required to dedicate 100 hours per month to their assigned role. They will commence employment as trainees in the respective department, gaining valuable experience in their field.

This program is officially named the “Unemployment Allowance for the Educated Unemployed Youth Scheme, 2005.” Let’s talk about the scheme in detail.
