What is Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Nyay Yojana 2023?
Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Nyay Yojna (MGANY) initiative is designed to provide financial support to individuals and families residing in rural areas who are homeless or live in inadequate kutcha houses.
During the ‘Awas Nyay Sammelan‘ event, both Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel distributed the initial installment of Rs 25,000 to 1,30,000 beneficiaries. These funds will be allocated to facilitate the construction of proper housing for these eligible recipients.
Under this scheme, The Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board provides financial aid of Rs 1 lakh to registered construction workers under the MNSASY program for the purpose of building their homes.
This program provides financial aid of Rs 1.30 lakh to each recipient residing in remote areas and Rs 1.20 lakh to those in plain areas to assist in constructing their homes.

The prime objective of the Chhattisgarh Gramin Awas Nyay Yojana is to provide financial assistance to people living in rural areas to build pucca houses. This financial assistance will be given only to those who live in rural areas of Chhattisgarh and have not benefited from the central-sponsored scheme “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana”.

In districts under IAP, this support will involve 95 days of employment, while in non-IAP districts, beneficiaries will receive 90 days of employment.
